About
Melanie is the kind of designer who turns clients into friends, not one-time transactions. She grew up walking around home construction sites with her dad, and regularly rearranged the family furniture.
In high school, Melanie dreamed of studying fashion design, but was talked out of it by the practical adults in her life. She used her college elective credits on fashion classes while she pursued a more “reliable” career. After 12 years working in creative operations for in-house corporate brand design teams (all things design for the digital world), having two kids, and renovating three homes, Melanie pivoted from her steady, six-figure corporate job to interior design.
Only time will tell if this was a smart financial decision. For now, Melanie is happier and more motivated than ever.
